1971 T-Top Automatic – $17,500 or Best Offer

Corvettes are probably not selling very well this time of year in the frigid Northeast where this car is located, so it might be a good time to make an offer on this chrome-bumper C3. As with any 52-year-old car, there are some items needing remediation or at least some attention.

This is the penultimate year for the chrome bumpers at both front and rear. Note the chrome side exhaust.

Looks like a tan interior in decent shape. A/C is not currently working. Three-speed automatic transmission is original.

350 cubic inch V8 is not the original engine but seller claims it runs good. Previous owner used this car as a daily driver.

Seller claims that the frame and birdcage are “mint” with “no signs of rust”. This is the only picture of the frame. What do you think?

Cons:

AC is inoperative

Paint has some bubbling, seller recommends a re-paint

Only one picture of frame and it shows significant rust which contradicts sellers claim of “no signs of rust”
